In other news…I work in a hospital lab. Back when I was teaching, I had a pretty good handle on what stories I could share without violating FERPA (the educational privacy law). I’m not as comfortable with HIPAA, which is also more restrictive. Therefore, without going into detail, I’ll just leave you with this gem for the weekend: Pregnancy tests are usually run on females, but apparently there are exceptions.
