Is It Time for a Subscription?

The local paper, The Des Moines Register, used to be available for free at local convenience stores/gas stations of the Kum and Go chain with a $20 gas purchase. Handy on Sundays when we needed gas. Not anymore. Starting September 1st, the Sunday paper is $0.99 with a $20 gas purchase. Bummer.

A subscription to the paper on Sunday only is $10/month, and the last time I bought a Sunday paper it was $2 at full price. I’m pondering getting a subscription, which would also have the benefit of having the paper early in the morning before I get around to leaving the house.
